Sarah Palin, Michele Bachman, Tim Pawlenty, Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee all invoke GOD FOR VOTES and the hillbilly wing of the Conservative Tea Republican Party, the anti-intellectual, anti-science TEA PARTY wet their pants rushing to cast their vote for someone, anyone throwing out the CODED WORD - "Born Again!"

You see, heathens, if you ain't "Born Again"- you ain't getting in to the End of Time Party that is coming real soon.  Possibly, as soon as October 21, or, for sure, December 21, 2012 at 1:30 PM and you got to be "Born Again"  to have a ticket for admittance.  One might be a Catholic, but, that doesn't count  - because all born again-er will privately tell you that they appreciate the fact that the "fish eater" agree with them on the abortion issue, but, the pope is the anti-Christ.   Episcopalians are out, as well as, all Christians that can spell, unless they have been dunked in the baptismal, held under until they surrender and accepts JESUS as the one true god. It is written in the Bible, somewhere.

Born Again-er, especially those that belong to large congregation of 6,000 to 10,000 member TV Evangelical Churches are taught that "GOD WANTS YOU TO BE RICH". And, the God of Isaiah, Abraham and Luke demands that you tithe a full 10% of your gross income to the TV Evangelical, Born Again church of your choice, as long as, the pastor lives in a $25,000,000 walled compound, rides in private limos, wears $7000 designer shoes and has a beautiful bejeweled wife.

It is also required .  . . in fact, mandatory that converts renounce their membership in the democratic party and agree to VOTE A STRICT REPUBLICAN TICKET.  God told the hillbilly, self appointed, multi-millionaire preachers that Family Values is synonymous with Republican and God is in a family way.

But, above all else, Born Bargainers have to commit to giving 10% of the GROSS INCOME - NOT NET to the church so that they can continue to do more fund raising.

Have you every noticed that the Founding Fathers:  Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Henry Ford never mentioned their faith as a means to get support for their political position, but, that has all changed now with the Tea Republicans movement to return to the ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION.

Today, everyone must be a BORN AGAIN, REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVE or else they will not get "RAPTURED". One must be dipped in the "Blood Libel" religious doctrine of Sarah Palin and nearly drown in the baptismal or else one is going to HELL,according to the new Republican-Tea party combined Religious Right and Politic Party.

Why, the change?  Because Born Again Evangelical Christians LEFT THE CHURCH YEARS AGO AND WENT INTO TO POLITICS.  Maybe, their hillbilly backwoods uneducated pastors got it all mixed up.

Are you as sick as I am of Born Again losers that you barely know asking you, "Are you saved, brother?"

"No, I am invested", I usually reply and leave it at that. But, these Hillbilly Evangelical Nut Jobs can't take a social cue so they persists.

"I mean have you accepted JESUS?" they badger.

"No", I response. We only take Visa and Master card."

"You, don't, mind if I ask you but what is your religion? Are you a Christian?" they always ask.

"Yes, I do mind. I am an Orthodox Druid," I explain patiently.

"Oh, you don't look Jewish. I didn't know you were Jewish?" they fumble all over themselves.

"Neither did I. But, thanks for tell me. I often wondered!" I charitably say then bid the rude, self-serving, holier than thou, Born Again, nsey Evangelical Christian out the door of my office.

MY RELIGION IS MY OWN DAMN BUSINESS!

an interesting note to this .......

"Tempting Faith's" author is David Kuo

, who served as special assistant to the president from 2001 to 2003. A self-described conservative Christian, Kuo's previous experience includes work for prominent conservatives including former Education Secretary and federal drug czar Bill Bennett and former Attorney General John Ashcroft.

Kuo, who has complained publicly in the past about the funding shortfalls, goes several steps further in his new book.

He says some of the nation's most prominent evangelical leaders were known in the office of presidential political strategist Karl Rove as "the nuts."

"National Christian leaders received hugs and smiles in person and then were dismissed behind their backs and described as 'ridiculous,' 'out of control,' and just plain 'goofy,'" Kuo writes.

More seriously, Kuo alleges that then-White House political affairs director Ken Mehlman knowingly participated in a scheme to use the office, and taxpayer funds, to mount ostensibly "nonpartisan" events that were, in reality, designed with the intent of mobilizing religious voters in 20 targeted races.

Nineteen out of the 20 targeted races were won by Republicans, Kuo reports. The outreach was so extensive and so powerful in motivating not just conservative evangelicals, but also traditionally Democratic minorities, that Kuo attributes Bush's 2004 Ohio victory "at least partially to the conferences we had launched two years before."

In fact, when Bush asks Kuo how much money was being spent on "compassion" social programs, Kuo claims he discovered the amount was $20 million a year less than during the Clinton Administration.

The money that was appropriated and disbursed, however, often served a political agenda, Kuo claims, with organizations friendly to the administration often winning grants.

More pointedly, Kuo quotes an unnamed member of the review panel charged with rating grant applications as saying she stopped looking at applications from "those non-Christian groups," as did many of her colleagues.

Becks72: It is! Thanks for the post.

The odd thing is that I have a very strong spiritual connection, accepted Jesus, talk to the man every day many, many times, and, have had two Epiphanies, one in which He spoke to me, explaining that "God can ONLY do good."

But, these corrupted Christians that have turned religion into the Right Militant Arm of the Republican Party and, in by view, have fallen under the spell of their Hillbilly ("God Wants You To Be Rich") Anti-Christ Televangelist. They believe that God does Evil things like punish whole communities because six people are gay that live there.

There is EVIL in the world and it is rampant in the Televangelist Born Again, End Timers, Send Me Your Money, Republican Straight Ticket, Christian Hypocrite Churches.

I asked one of these evangelical airheads once if, since they were so eager to condemn me for smoking and drinking, I would go to heaven if I quit. Upon being reassured that it was so, I asked if that meant that Hitler was in heaven because he was a life-long abstainer. No reply; jacklighted look in the eyes; I was not bothered again.

It always seems suspicious to me when people who think they are well versed offer up ultimatums to redemption. Anyway, Jesus was a partier. Why do you think he changed the water to wine?

Back on topic, it seems almost blasphemous to use someones religion against them to sway a political vote. Religion has no place in politics.

1933 Germany? Aryan zealots? Minority party used fanatics to achieve dictatorial power?

Tea Party = Brown Shirts / S.S. troopers (Evangelical supported goon squad)?

GOP = Front men of the wealthy (Google both Grover Norquist & Karl Rove)?

GOP using Tea Party to leverage final stage of "Social Change" on the American People?

You said it all, PigeonReport! You might also add the requirement.... is easily influenced as in "brainwashed" or a "believer"

It's no surprise as the US was founded on radical religious individuals, cast forth from the UK as they could not deal with this population.

Excellent article and well written
